153 days. 912.7 m³ of reinforced concrete. 65,000 man hours. Zero injuries.
PAMICOR Limited, through its Burkina Faso operation, has formally handed over the TSF Diversion Channel at Houndé Gold Operation (HGO) to the client. The structure was completed on 22 June 2026 and signed over on the same day, 153 days after work commenced on 21 January 2026.

The reinforced concrete diversion culvert was designed to safely convey stormwater and surface runoff away from the Tailings Storage Facility, protecting the integrity of the TSF and the surrounding catchment area. The project was executed under contract number 41173853, with Knight Piesold acting as the consulting engineer for HGO.
A Civil Infrastructure Delivery Built to Scale
The scope of works carried real engineering weight. Pamicor Burkina placed 912.7 cubic metres of reinforced concrete across the base slab, walls, and top slab of the culvert. Reinforcement totalled 160 tonnes of steel, supported by 2,580.7 square metres of formwork.

The full sequence of activities included site setting out, foundation preparation, blinding placement, reinforcement fixing and formwork installation, concrete placement, sealant works at the construction joints, surface reinstatement, and the quality control programme that ran throughout.
All works were executed in accordance with the approved construction drawings, specifications, and HGO project requirements. Quality inspections were conducted at every stage, and all identified defects were rectified prior to handover.

65,000 Man Hours. Zero Injuries.
The most important number on the project is the one that did not change. Across 65,000 man hours of construction activity, the project recorded zero lost-time injuries and no environmental incidents.

The site team worked in compliance with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements throughout the contract. At handover, no outstanding safety or environmental issues remained on the project.
For Pamicor, that outcome is not incidental. The company operates to ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety standards across all its sites, and its safety record is the result of a deliberate management system rather than chance.
Delivering 65,000 man hours without a single lost-time injury is the result of every member of this team doing their job with discipline, every day. We are grateful to HGO and to Knight Piesold for the trust placed in us, and we are proud of what the Pamicor Burkina team has built.

Strengthening Pamicor’s Civil Construction Footprint in Francophone West Africa
The TSF Diversion Channel handover deepens Pamicor’s track record in Burkina Faso, where the company has been steadily building its civil construction and mining services capability. Pamicor Burkina, led by Director Aïssata Goungounga Coulibaly, gives the group a direct operational presence in Francophone West Africa and a base for further work with mining operators across the region. Tailings storage facility infrastructure sits at the intersection of two areas where Pamicor has long invested: civil and concrete works, and tailings management. The combination is increasingly relevant as mining operators across West Africa upgrade their water management and tailings infrastructure in line with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM).
Acknowledgements
Pamicor extends formal thanks to Houndé Gold Operation for the contract award and the close working relationship sustained throughout the project. The company also recognises Knight Piesold for the engineering oversight and inspection regime that accompanied delivery, and the site team at Pamicor Burkina for the consistent execution that made the safety result possible.
